Meet Your Coach
Rebecca spent the first decade of her career teaching various movement forms to individuals in group settings and one-on-one. While studying psychology at Central Michigan University, Rebecca spent an equal amount of time growing her competency in weight lifting, functional fitness, and aerobic capacity. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Rebecca continued her education focusing on nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
Throughout the years she’s learned from various mentors, institutions, and courses such as Functional Movement Screen (FMS), NLP Master Practitioner, Precision Nutrition (PN), USA Weightlifting (USAW), CrossFit/Functional Fitness, Aerobic Capacity, OPEX CCP L1&2, Breathing Technician, Degrees in Leadership & Science in Psychology, Movement Fix, and Strong Coach to name a few. She’s also a certified life coach, and continuing her education in holistic health.
Coach Rebecca has worked with athletes all over the world ranging from high-level professional athletes to fitness enthusiasts and weekend warriors who want to lose weight and feel good. Clients come to her when their results aren’t reflecting their efforts. These people are often willing to work hard but aren’t sure what the next best steps are to get them to the next level of their health and fitness.
Two of Rebecca’s greatest passions are teaching nutrition principles and creating physical training programs. She became fascinated with the ability to yield sustainable and predictable results with clients through individual program design. Personalized training protocols are similar to nutrition in that there needs to be variance based on individual needs, however, some principles continue to stand the test of time. The ability to meet an individual where they are at, consider their unique needs, and create a regimen for them is an art Rebecca takes seriously. She’s been working one-on-one with people all over the world for over a decade.

My entire coaching (and life) philosophy revolves around the idea of being Simply Whimsical.
Simply is the structure. It is the dedication to the process, the consistency, and the fundamentals. It's putting the foods that will serve you best into your body. It’s moving through a range of motion safely and controlled. It’s sticking to the program, staying hydrated, getting adequate sleep, and minimizing stress. Simply is the structure and the structure is the spine - it's what holds everything else up.
Whimsical is the playfulness, the heart, the fun! While the structure is critical, the heart is what keeps the blood flowing. It's movement, creativity, and connection to a purpose.
At its essence, WHIMSICAL is the why and SIMPLY is the how.
